5th week into grow and my leaves are curling under. Please help? Pics

I have been growing for about 5 weeks now and i think i have ran into some problems.

First off i have noticed little fly looking bugs on my plant. kind like nats. Is this bad and how do i get rid of them?

Second some of the leaves on the top of my plant are curling under. I dont know why this is happening. How do i fix it?

Third, I have noticed two leaves on the bottom of my plant that are turing yellow. is this normal?

thank you for any answers you have.

Leaf Curling Down - When the leaves curl under and burn at the tips and margins it’s usually a sign that the nutrient level is too high.

Solution - Check and adjust the pH level as necessary. Flush and decrease the nutrient level.

Droopy Leaves - Leaves that are drooping are most likely caused by over watering/under watering or lack of light.

Solution - First off, for soil, Place you finger into your soil a few inches and see if it's dry or wet. If over watering is your problem, increase the temperature and airflow to evaporate some of the excess water also you can add some h2o2 when watering to help the roots still receive O2. **Warning!- Chronic over watering can lead to soggy roots and stagnant, icky soil. if you slide the plant out of the pot to check the soil and it stinks or is soggy then transplant into fresh dry soil. For a hydroponic system, check to see if your medium is dry or wet before you water (or your pump comes on). If your medium is still pretty wet, then you are over watering and need to water less often. If your medium is very dry before watering, under watering is your problem, just water more frequently. And lastly, If lack of light is the problem, Add more light.

Nute burn generally starts from the edge of the leaves and works inward. Doesn't look like nute burn to me.

How wet is your soil? How often do you water? Did you fix the bug problem?

Re: 5th week into grow and my leaves are curling under. Please help? Pics

This is my first time growing and i used to water it ever day with a spray bottle. Since it has gotten bigger I water it every two days but without the spray bottle. How much should i water it and how often? Yesterday i flushed my plant with two gallons of water. I spreaded the water evenly and let it soak in before i poured more water. Is that the way to flush a plant?

As far as the bug problem goes I went to the gardening store and bought some neem oil. The person working in the store said that it should get rid of the Gnats, the larvua, and the eggs. Was this a good idea? i told them i was growing veggies.

You have a pH issue. The flush should have sorted it out unless you did it with tap water and no nutes. You could have introduced other issues.

If you are using tap water then add a pinch of Epsom salts to the water every other feed, dissolve it in warm water before adding to nute solution.

All will be fine.

How exactly should i be watering my plant? Just straight water or should i buy some sort of nutrient solution? If so what kind is the best to buy.
