| Re: Another problem!!! **pics** epsom salt, not table salt... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epsom_salts Although since the leaves aren't curling up I don't know if I would expect it to be Mg. Looks like it *could* be Calcium but that seems pretty unlikely especially with cal-mag in there. Tell us more about your grow. Are you using tap water? RO? How long have you been using the same reservoir of nutes? Is this DWC? Any algae growth? How old are the plants? What lights are you using? EDIT: http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.p...8&page=1&pp=15 Check out Calcium (Ca)...those pics look quite a bit like yours to me. Both the brown spotting AND the patterned spotting on the leaf serrations. o/ Tieme Last edited by tieme; 11-04-2008 at 06:52 AM. |

Max11Max- I dont think it was an old leaf because before i had a BAD problem with my ph (i think you know) And i fixed it about a week ago. There was no new signs of color change until about 2 days ago randomly. I cut all the dead leaves off too after i changed the ph. I really dont know what the hell this shit is and i pretty sure it might be getting worst but ill post a pic of the whole plant soon

I also think the lamp is a lil close. The plants leafs are going purple and new leaf growth should be nice and green in veg. Stick your pH meter in the nute tank and test it, it should NEVER go over 6 NEVER... If you are using quarter strength nutes then leaf necrosis like that is caused by swings in pH and it staying outside 5.2 to 6.1 range for long periods of time.

If your using hydroponic nutes then you shouldn't need to add anything else but nutes while in veg. Perhaps a pinch of epsom salts every 3rd water dump but that will lower the pH so just a pinch. Dissolve it in warm water before adding it to the tub.
