epsom salt, not table salt...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epsom_salts

Although since the leaves aren't curling up I don't know if I would expect it to be Mg. Looks like it *could* be Calcium but that seems pretty unlikely especially with cal-mag in there.

Tell us more about your grow.
Are you using tap water? RO? How long have you been using the same reservoir of nutes? Is this DWC? Any algae growth? How old are the plants? What lights are you using?

EDIT: http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.p...8&page=1&pp=15
Check out Calcium (Ca)...those pics look quite a bit like yours to me. Both the brown spotting AND the patterned spotting on the leaf serrations.

No i used room temperature bought distilled water, i just changed the water today and that other water was in there for maybe a week, its in a bubble bucket, no algae growth, and the plant is 2 weeks 3 days old. I am using 172 watts of CFLS, 104 of it is daylight 6500k and the other is 2500k soft white.

Just checked out your grow journal...Your setup looks awesome. I spose you could try the epsom salt thing...I doubt it will hurt. You could mix a half teaspoon of cal mag in a half gallon of water and foliar feed. It might help it might not. Not sure what to say...hopefully you will get someone more experienced posting in here. I'm only about as far as you on my first grow as well -_-

Good luck man.

That looks like an old leaf that had problems before.

post a pic of the whole plant and keep that pH at 5.5

Re: Another problem!!! **pics**

Max11Max- I dont think it was an old leaf because before i had a BAD problem with my ph (i think you know) And i fixed it about a week ago. There was no new signs of color change until about 2 days ago randomly. I cut all the dead leaves off too after i changed the ph. I really dont know what the hell this shit is and i pretty sure it might be getting worst but ill post a pic of the whole plant soon

OK you RH is way low, is that 37% i see. Needs to be about 60% for veg.

I also think the lamp is a lil close. The plants leafs are going purple and new leaf growth should be nice and green in veg.

Stick your pH meter in the nute tank and test it, it should NEVER go over 6 NEVER...

If you are using quarter strength nutes then leaf necrosis like that is caused by swings in pH and it staying outside 5.2 to 6.1 range for long periods of time.

Put a small bowl of water in the grow room to raise RH

Keep an eye on the pH, just dip the meter in the tub a few times a day and get a feel for how quickly it swings. It might surprise you how quickly it rises.

If your using hydroponic nutes then you shouldn't need to add anything else but nutes while in veg. Perhaps a pinch of epsom salts every 3rd water dump but that will lower the pH so just a pinch. Dissolve it in warm water before adding it to the tub.
