End of grow problem

Hi all, I'm 5 weeks into flowering and my older leaves are turning yellow and wilting. I'm guessing it's root rot because I see roots growing out of the pots and into the autovalves. I've inceased the light, I've added more fans and put air rocks in the Autovalves. I also cut back on the Fluids. My ph is 6.0 and my PPM is 950. I've leached the pots and I don't know what else I can do. Any suggestions welcome.

Thanks
CD

Nice grow and nice bike..

I don't see any problems with the grow except post 27, pic 4 .. Hermi, male flowers..

Apart from that the runt you planted had a ph issue.. Did you fix it.. ?

Nothing more to add.

Re: End of grow problem

Ok, thanks for the heads up, I got that Hermie, I have 4 Bubble gum Fems. My PH is always around 6.0 I keep it calibrated I have backups for PH and PPM. My PPM is always under 1000 and I check from the bottom of the tank. I am following the instructions as far as the Nutrients go I'm using Liquid Earth from futuregardenI have everything they sell. So I guess that's it and there is nothing I can do?
This is my first attempt in many years. I built that bike and the motor, it's making 85 HP at the rear, all Screaming Eagle parts. It's an 04 1200 Sporty roadster Balanced and Blueprinted.

Thanks Again

Roots growing out is just fine, U'll get that a lot it's no sign of problems, yellowing towards the end of the grow is also normal. IMHO the PH is a lil high but nothing to worry about. I'd tend to keep them about 5.7/8 but that's me.

I wonder how long did it take you to build such a nice machine +rep

Re: End of grow problem

Re: The bike, I got it from an old buddy that has a HD dealership in Arizona, I bought it new it was set up re-crated and sent to me by air. I picked it up at the Airport and brought it straight to the shop. I cut the heads, replaced the cams, lifters, ignition and I also did a lot of head work, valves, springs, retainers. The Exhaust is as unrestristed as I could buy. I also replaced the Gas tank, the Fenders and the seat. I realize I could have bought a Jap crotch rocket but I wanted an American made cruser. This is my first HD and it took about 6 months to do everything and shake it out.

Re: End of grow problem

If you like cars, here's one you see in the UK. It's far from stock, the major power comes from an APS Turbo. It makes 362 HP at the rear on a Mustand Dyno and turns low 12's in the quarter.

Re: End of grow problem

Hi All, I hope the weekend has been good to all of you. As far as my garden goes, I've lowered the PH to 5.5, lowered the PPM to 850 added air stones to the valves and flushed the shit out of the pots with distilled water. By the time the fluids get from the tank to the valves it heats up. Think of it as a drip that comes in from the bottom. I'm not arguing, I'm just questioning, I've been using this system for 3 months, why should it be overwatering at this time? Now that I've flushed it out, how long should I let them go dry?

Who said it was over watering ? If it's soil then the lack of oxygen in the soil after a flush is something to consider. If the plants look healthy continue what you're doing after the pots look dry on top.

Flowering plants normally use a lot less water than in veg.

Any chance of a recent pic?

Re: End of grow problem

I was advised by someone that I have root rot, I personally haven't leached the pots very often. I'll bet it's salt build up. Here are a few recent whole pics. The door to my box is small so this is the best I can do right now.

Thanks
