Pest problem?

I have a pest around my house and grow area. It looks like a fruit fly. Are there any pests that will harm marijuana that look like fruit flies? It's possible that they are just fruit flies...I haven't seen them actually sitting on or congregating around the plants.

Any ideas? I couldn't find any info on pests that resembled these.

Thanks!

Re: Pest problem?

Post a pic of the insect if possible or go to google images and search something like, "flying insects on marijuana" you could find a picture of them there. Much easier to know how to get rid of the bugs once we know what they are. Good luck with the research and keep us posted. IMO Much Love.

Edit: Just as a side note. I use a product during veg and EARLY flower called Hot Spot pest strips. Purchased at the local Pot. Google them as well with the word marijuana and several forums will come up attesting to there effectiveness at keeping the pest away from the Mary. Hope I could help.

I'm almost sure they are fruit flies but wanted to see if anyone knew of any pests the resembled fruit flies. I have searched for marijuana pests and saw none that resembled the ones I am seeing.
