I finally decided I had everything I needed to take cuttings from 17 plants that i've been vegging since last April.
So now going from soil to hydro I will have space for just about 250 4' cubes on one 4x6 and 2x4 but in any case i've made just about 550 clones on 6 prop trays in rockwool and will push to fill about 600.
Out of 17 plants 5 don't show signs of any sex i've cut from 2 of them and made out about 21 uncertain cuttings just incase to have some guys around hopefully so to make seeds after this 3 month swindle.
Great news for me is that prior to starting I took the time to collect different seeds from respectable dealers here and abroad and ended up with a hefty mix as such to name a few:
Big Blue - Vancouver Seed Bank (Blueberry X NL5)
of which 2 phenotypes appeared a short very dense seemingly auto-flowering plant
as well as her sister (both girls) a much taller similiar phenotype with gorgeous blue
hue in the foliage
Purple #1 - Dutch Passion
both girls, both very tall, one very bright green and extremely wide and bushy
the other, dark green tall tall dense stick-like figure
then there are 2 of Dr.Atomic's Sheeva girls, one hazy looking lady, one blueberry, one mango for sure and then a mix of who knows what indicas I got from the potshop downtown who I trust to have given me a mix of wtv they get from the big seed suppliers
But anways all has been logged and the clones are all very well organized
So now for the VERY SERIOUS PART of this fun thread.
A few things I need to mention and maybe you can help me with some questions and tell me if i'm over confident . First off, during the vegging most of my plants accumulated little SPIDER MITE COLONIES and for the past 30 days prior to cutting i've paid extra attention to spraying all the plants down with NEEM OIL x BIO GLUE but have here and there seen spider mites alive and walking around even on the cuttings but sprayed the plants down before and even once mildly a day after putting the clones in the prop trays after getting freaked out that 4 days ago was too long and should go for it again . And personally I think this was a good idea so far they dont seem affected in any adverse way

.
Also today i noticed that only the PURPLE #1 clones had some kind of mould of them so I lifted the dome and removed all the affected ones with gloves right away so as you can see on the right in the above picture some are missing and spending quality time in the garbage :s
Here is a picture of the MOULD:
Also in regards to the spider mite problem I planted many clones that had white spots from SM attacks and am fully aware that SM carry diseases and can poison the cutting especially with the open leaf sores from cutting the leaves to shorten the size of the cutting or however else but so far so good and plus I tried cloning 5 months ago 20 clones and even clones with the white spots rooted...maybe this stress factor can be related to the same success from the nitrous deficient recommended cloning method which I did not use just because I forgot :S
So in the end will sliding the trays out to put a muscle heater under in rotation as i dont have 6 heaters, shock the clones from the vibration of movement?
Was it a major mistake to take cuttings from SM attacked leaves even if most are dead
and most importantly was I not too smart to spray cuttings after I put them in even if everything looks ok on the 4th day
And what do I do about the 5 plants that show absolutely no sign of sex even after me putting 4 of them to dark for 36 hours?
Thx
