Crinkley, deformed leaves?

Hi,

My seedlings have crinkley, deformed leaves. Anyone know why?

Tressie.

Hey again Tressie!

Plants in pic:

I see no issues with plants 1, 4, & 6

Plant 2 can't be seen.

Both plant 3 & 5 are deformed, but it's unlikely that you've had any influence over that at this early stage.

Nine times out of ten it's a little genetic fault that they'll grow out of, just like our wrinkly little human babies do.

Give them time, Tressie, give 'em time.

Hi Rabiez,

Thanks for taking the time to examine my seedlings. I'm sure that it's just a genetic trait, as you say. Hopefully they will grow out of it like human babies do.

Ever seen a newborn baby dolphin? They come out pretty folded up too. Takes them a while to unruffle as well.

Regards,
Tressie.

Re: Crinkley, deformed leaves?

Hi GC,

Problem solved. I re-potted my seedlings into some cheap potting soil and they have taken off. No more deformed leaves.

That's the last time I use Jiffy pots.

Tressie
