Re: need some help

ILL TRY MY BEST!!

Need pics to be sure + soil or hydro grow????????????????

pH 5.3-5.8 FOR hydro or ph 6.5-7.0 FOR soil. I found that in hydro if you go over 6.0 you start to get problems the leaves will start curling downwards into a claw like shape which is very similar to nute burn.but its one of the signs of a pH problem,if it is nute burn then the tips of the leaves will be brown/burnt and will be workin its way towards the stem

underwatered / overwatered

The number one plant killer is over-watering, It is easier to bring back a dying plant from under-watering than overwatering. Over watering can be more hazardous to our plants health than making them go without water. Excessive moisture creates an environment favourable to such diseases as Crown Rot, Phytium, Phytophthora, Root Rot, damping off. Overwatering can also cause a condition known as denitrification.

The ability to recognize early symptoms of water stress is crucial to maintaining the growth of plants. The most common symptom is wilt. The rigidity of leaves of plants is maintained by water pressure on the insides of the leaf cells. When water is deficient, these cells lose their rigidity and the leaves droop, usually the older leaves first,

you need to send pics plus you need a pH meter ASAP!!

hope this helps

Just wanted to point out you shouldn't go over 7 on the Ph with Soil, nutrients get easily locked out in Alkali soil. Best is around 6.5.

To the OP:
Give them a bit of water (While waiting for the pH metre) to see if they perk back up. If they don't get a reading from th pH metre and either lower/higher it. Remember; Hydro 5.3-5.8, Soil 6.3-6.8

Over watered plants droop their leaves alot and some will turn yellow and fall off, some leaves look healthy and they will still fall off.

Underwatering can look the same as over-watering except for the fact that leaves become very dry very quickly. It can be pretty hard to under water though so don't worry too much about that.

Hope that helps a bit!
