Just transplanted...

Transplanted yesterday and everything looked good. This afternoon, found that one of my plants' stems is becoming brown at the base. I'm in soil, using 3 42W cfl about a foot away. Haven't watered in a few days, could this be the problem?

Re: Just transplanted...

hi

when you transplant to another pot you should allways water thouroghly.

that is your problem the medium is to dry & the roots need to start spreading out in there new home(pot)

give them a good water ,till the water drains from the holes at bottom of pots.

ps; dont leave excess water in tray. & get they lights closer

this will help, all the best, M

Thanks man, I gave them a big gulp, hopefully it helps. Unfortunately, I can't get the lights closer because of the layout of the closet

your welcome mate

can you not move your plants up to the lights rather than move the lights down
