Brown dead spots on tips, yellowing, stunted...help (pics)

So here it is, the bottom leaves have been yellowing and turning brown and dying off. Plant is stunted, purple stem, petioles, etc. The thing i cant figure out are the dead spots on the leaf tips. When they turn brown they curl up or down. The top of the plant is also turning purple/brownish around the edges of the leaves... and now the pics... have ferted twice with foxfarm growbig (1 tsp per gallon the last time i nuted, last watering no nutes were used)

Last water the ph was in the high 6's or 7 (runoff)

I would normally here say pH problems and possibly humidity problems.

How often do you water them? the soil looks dry, They are young so they shouldn't need much feed but they do look under fed.

Thats quite high even for soil, you want to aim for 6.5 ish. I would take a look at your fert

Basically I think your food is off, your watering is off and (I'm not sure about this one without more info) your enviroment is off.

1) Make sure the pot doesn't fry out, check the wieght of the pot for a good way of checking whether it needs watering

2) Check your food levels, and feed the plant a little more

3) Check you temps and humidities. Your temp needs to be between 21 and 29 deg C and you humidity is fine between 45 and 65% but in veg you can easily have it higher and have no problems.

Hope this helps mate

I did let it dry out a little too much last time, i thought i was over watering, since then i have been watering by the weight (was using a stupid moisture meter.. heh)

Could definitely be under-fed, im not ruling that one out, next watering she gets nutes though. I am only feeding at 1/3-1/2 strength ( they recommend 2-3teaspoons per gallon every other watering, i do 1 per)

Humidity and temp are perfect max temps are 85 rarely, min is 72 at night average about 73-79, humidity ranges from 44-55%, usually hovering around 50%

Yeah, I'd keep up the food and keep an eye on the pH then mate.

Wtering is the hardest thing to learn but a key thing to get right.

Re: Brown dead spots on tips, yellowing, stunted...help (pics)

What type of medium; soil or hydro? soil
What brand and type of soil?about 60% "topsoil", 15%coco coir, 25% perlite
Indoors or outdoors? indoor
What strain? northern lights (nirvana), my own breed..
How old are the plants? about 6 weeks
What type of lights and how many watts? 250w MH conversion
How far from the lights? ~1 foot
What, how much and when was it fed? NPK? 6-4-4 foxfarm growbig, twice at 1/3-1/2 strength
What is the medium/runoff pH? high 6's-low 7's, digital meter broke, so im using something like a pool tester
What are the temps and humidity in the room? 72-79 average, 44-55% humidity
What size pots? I think 2 gallon, 10" across
Any bugs? Look real close. no
Any other pertinent info?

New growth seems fine, lower growth is dying rapidly, yellowing(whole leaf) and browning kinda grayish on the leaf tips, and the leaf tips curl either up or down, purple stem and petioles on middle growth, new growth seems green but maybe it hasnt spread yet.. Soil is still moist, could it be overwatering with a high ph also? A lot of the bottom leaves are now curled under, including the leaf margins have rolled under from the sides...
