Hydro Grow Overfert.

What type of medium; soil or hydro? Hydro
What brand and type of soil? N/A
Indoors or outdoors? Indoor
What strain? Northern Lights
How old are the plants? 12 Days
What type of lights and how many watts? 1 24watt daylight cft with reflector
How far from the lights? 6 inches
What, how much and when was it fed? NPK? Ionic Hydo at 600 ppm or 1.2 EC
What is the medium/runoff pH? 6.5
What are the temps and humidity in the room? 70
What size pots? 4 inch nets
Any bugs? Look real close. No
Any other pertinent info?

Growing in a bubble bucket, 5" airstone in a 5 gallon bucket. My plant started to show the signs of over fertilizing so i took the nuetient solution down from 900 oom or 1.7 Ec (which was suggested on the bottle) down to 600 or 1.2 EC. I also raised ph from 6 to 6.5. Its been 24 hours and the plants are showing no signs of improvement. Did I lower the nuetient solution enough? How long does recovery take? Will it only effect new growth or exzisting growth?

Symptoms burnt edges and yellowing, and leaves dropping down slightly.

Thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide help.

Chemical Re: Hydro Grow Overfert.

1.2 is probably too high still mate. I would bring it down to 0.8 also your ph is fine anywhere between 5.8 and 6.4.

I would not expect for you to see improvement for a week or so. You will need to take off the worst affected leaves so you don't waste enrgy repairing them when you can grow new ones. Obviously don't take all of the leaves, never take more than a third of the leaves off an plant at any one time.

Also due to your problem I would give your plant an extra week or so veg.

Re: Hydro Grow Overfert.

For your peace of mind, you should know that those burned leaves will never be 'repaired'.
