1st grow problems

What type of medium; Soil
What brand and type of soil? Sta Green and some soil that was in a pot already
Indoors or outdoors? indoors
What strain? bagseed
How old are the plants? not even a month yet
What type of lights and how many watts? 8 26 watt daylight CFLs
How far from the lights? a couple inches
What, how much and when was it fed? NPK? havent ferted yet except the old soil which was with 17-17-17 tomato food . the only soil i could find at wal mart or lowes already had ferts in it.
What is the medium/runoff pH? no ph meter
What are the temps and humidity in the room? temps probably 75-80

its my first grow and it seems as if ive been having problems since day one. i added some worms to the soil maybe a week ago. theyre on 18/6 right now and when the lights turn off i mist them with a little bit of superthrive and water.

anyone have any ideas as to what could be wrong?

and the last pic is of my second plant. same problem as the first or different?

any help is appreciated. i just dont want my babies to die

Re: 1st grow problems

Looks like nute burn/toxicity to me. I'd try to flush it but I'm not positive what that will do with soil that already has ferts in it so you may want to look around for better soil ASAP. Good luck.

Re: 1st grow problems

Chemical burn defo coz look at the tips of your leafs there starting to burn,

they look quite dry and stiff/tough humidity looks like rise the humidity to 60%.
mist them without the superthrive,

Do a soil flush with clean fresh water dont give them nutes yet coz your soil has it in it already + there still too young you will see a change in a week or so

your soil looks like it has wood bark in it get some new soil ASAP from the garden centre make sure it says for cutting and seedlings + a small bag of perlite and mix it in with your new soil

lets save these babies

What is the medium/runoff pH? no ph meter INVEST IN ONE SOON AS!!!

Re: 1st grow problems

how much superthrive did you use? How much did you dilute it?

I am certain that is nute burn. The whole plant is green and growth is normal, but leaves are curling and tips are burning.... yeah you got nute burn.

Flush flush flush flush and hope for the best.
