Whats up with my plants? (pics)

I have two plants growing from bagseeds in my closet under two CFLs (one per plant). As you can see, one plant is much bushier than the other. They are about 6 weeks old and each is about 7 inches tall. I planted them in miracle grow soil with instant feeding nutes and they were looking really good for the first few weeks then started looking pretty bad so I bought some more nutes. I got 18-21-18 and have fed them twice so far but the tops started getting brown so I thought I over fed them so I stopped just recently. Anyways, any reasons why they look the way they do, especially the thin one? The leaves are so small on that plant.
Thanks

if you want us to help youll need to be more specific on your setup.

first off dont use miricle grow soil. a baby plant doesnt need any nutes. dont start feeding them until you get about to the 4th of 5th node( leaf sets). how close are they to the lights? sounds like they may be getting burned. it could be over feeding, or poor air circulation as new jack city mentioned. put a fan on them, a constant breeze helps promote strong healthy stems to support the bud and leaves.

was there suposed to be a pic? sounds like from the post there was.

I've had fans blowing on them since they sprouted. The closet doesn't get that hot, maybe in the 80's. The CFL's are right on top of them, maybe an inch away or even less (I make sure to not let them touch the light). But they're all curled up like that because of over watering? I'll make sure to water them less. Thanks.

i would say over watering and and heat working against them... I would raise the bulb atleast 2 inches and put a fan on those babies...

Most likely it's the soil. Flush the hell out of the soil and feed with correct nutes. It looks like a little bit of heat tress too. Ambient temps may be too high because a lack of ventillation. If you have no fresh air being pushed into the closet a fan inside the closed are will not do much good, you need to leave the door open for a period of time a few times a day.

ok you put harsh nutes on young plants and they wilt and then you add more ? lol just use distilled water in organic non time releasing soil for at least 2 weeks then slowly put mild nutrients into the watering cycle start once every 3-4 waterings and see how they react people tend to rush on cannabis plants do things slow and they are a hearty plant and your pot looks like its probably running out of root space
