I would love to help, but since ya flushed already and ya dont think it's helping,I need to see some pics to diagnose better. Another thing you would want to do is get the ph if you dont already and see if it's on point.

Re: Sick Plants? Have A Question? Ask Here.

is it normal for hairs to be turning brown during the early preflowering stages?

also, what are these spots on my plant? bugs? fungus? wtf? i've asked around alot and looked around alot.. if you can tell me i'll give you a cookie. see pic: http://i274.photobucket.com/albums/j...s/DSCN2145.jpg

(just for clarification.. i want to know what the black/brown spots are.. the white spots are from a garlic insect repellent i use)

thanks!

Okie dokie, First it seems the brown spots are burn marks from the plant getting water on it while its either in the sun or under HID lights. Lemme guess, outdoor plant? So try to find out if either you or somehow a sprinkler or something is getting your plant wet during the daylight. It seems to only affect a few leaves so I think your good. As for the pistills turning brown early it is normal, sorta. The first set of calyx's and pistills commonly called pre-flowers are located in the "crotch" of the side branches coming off the main stem.Commonly where they first appear. These will die off and turn brown fairly early on as the rest of the pistills growing on the growth tips will only have maybe 1 or 2 brown hairs early on while the rest are white. Hope I was able to help, good luck.

Re: Sick Plants? Have A Question? Ask Here.

you could be right on the burn spots.. probably from short, heavy rain showers followed by partly cloudyness. been having a bunch of those days.

and i'm glad that the brown hairs are normal.. i was worried for a while.

thanks, mate.

No prob, if possible visit the plants after a rain and shakem a bunch to get excess water off. They will appreciate it. It helps stop bud rot and burn spots if the sun comes out soon after.
