outdoor plant needs a bit of help

My plant is doing ok. Its a little over a month old, but the leaves are missing pieces. i dont know if they aer being eaten or what. The only bugs i see are the gray "rolly polly" bugs....there is a lot of them but upon reading up some i saw that they dont hurt plants? other then that the palnt is growing and healthy, and even showing signs of pre sex. It looks like its going to be female but its too young to really tell. So my question is what could be going on? I will have pictures soon, once i get the VOYAGER (woot! ) So any help you can give me as of now is appreciated. Im just confused cause over all the plant looks good.
