Main stem snapped, help!

Hello I need reassurance. I got greenhouse fem church plant, nearly four weeks in veg. For the past week i've been training it under a screen. This morning whilst trying to move the top back under the screen i heard a crunch. I had a look and realised i'd snapped the top and it was hanging on by the skin. Where it was situated i couldn't bandage it. The break was about 2 to 3 nodes down from top of new growth, leaving her about six nodes from the bottom.
I'm gonna try and attatch a pic so please tell me what you think, here's some questions,

1 I've read in forums that some people just leave it, some would make a clean cut just below the break and put rooting gel on cut. Whats best as there's no possibility of re attatchment? Have i inadvertently topped her below where i should of ( a bit too much growth from top).

2 What is the likleyhood of the plant being ok? And if so how long do you reckon it'll be before i can tell?

Here's a photo, where it's snapped, the edge seems to be drying out and going brownish. I presume this is natural.

Any help would be greatly recieved.

i cant really tell from the pic, but put a splint on it. straighten it out and put two sticks and secure them with some sort of tape or twine. it depends how damaged it was, supercropping is possible but its probably far too crushed for that.

not sure if its 100 % possible but u could bandage that with some compost wrapped in clingfilm around it and then roots would grow from the snap if im right in saying which then makes it n easier way of cloning it.....im sure someone will rectifie me on that one and thats if its a female aswell

I would suggest trying to splint it as much as possible. I've had some gnarly stem snaps and they usually pull through. You might even get some exposive growth coming from the break. I think your plant should be fine.
