Question Clone attacked by cat. Should i remove the damaged leave?

So here is the scoop. A friend of mine got a bunch of clones to be put outdoors for growing. In the short period of time between getting the clones and planthing them outdoors, his cat attacked them. a couple were mauled beyond any hopes of recovery. 1 was attacked but not so as bad. My friend was unable to keep/grow the damaged 1 inside. so he pased it on to me, knowing its chances outdoors wouldnt be the best.

She seems to be doing well. She has been sprouting new leaves and growing. I have her under a 400 W MH bulb in my closet on an 18/6 light schedule.

Should i remove the parlty damaged leaves? any other suggestions? as i am a first time grower.

Thank you

When cloning its rec0mmended you remove up to 50% of the leaf mass to encourage rooting. Expect them to root faster than average the cat should of helped here.

Thank you for your response. Is it your suggestion then that i should remove just the damaged leaves? or remove more? I'm not sure how long ago the cutting was cloned, but it was in a plastic beer cup when i got it. when i removed it from the cup, it looked like it had a good root system going.

I apologise for my ignorance, I'm new to this.

nah you should be fine. the cat didnt do that much damage. and if here was already a root system when you got it then dont worry. just water it and give it all the light it wants. good luck.
