Help!! Unidentified spontaneous Brown spots!?

Ok. My babies have been going strong for about 3 months now and all of the sudden these brown spots have appeared. The only thing that has changed has been the photo period and i also them watered them slightly more than last time. I have not changed there nutrients or any thing else. Could this be from little over watering. I don't think this is a deficiency because they have been fine for some time now. There is some gnats in the room like a few but def nothing major I think. Most of the Browning is on the canopy as well. I'm so lost Please help asap thank you!!

sounds like could be spidermites. terrible wee bastards. if you've got a microscope, have a look at the spots up real close.
if you can see wee beasties what you could try do is isolate the plants affected.
also ladybirds will try and go about eating them up with out munching on your plants
