scientific (sort of) question needs answering

how much heat (for lack of a better word) do our fun plants give off in terms of aerial detection??? is there a heat(?) matrix compared to other plants? i live near the cornell cooperative research extension on long island but they couldnt even help me with this one.

shot in the dark i suppose.

In short... yes, how much heat? Idk. There is also other plant life that gives off similar signatures.

they dont put out very much, im sure theres not enough to be detected by usual means. the only time they produce heat is when they absorb light in shorter wavelengths(high energy) and convert it to longer, less energetic wavelengths. the energy difference between the two is what is lost as heat. you can tell this isnt much heat since plant temperatures are mostly dependent on ambient temps.
