Strugglin pot plant

a friend gave me this plant and i think it might just be underwatered but i just want to know what other ppl think and want to know if theres anything i should do to help the poor thing out. i cared for it in his garden for a while and i think its improved a bit and i moved it inside tonight to get some extra light... heres some pics

Poor thing. First, get a new pot for it. It's clear and roots grow slowly when they are exposed to the light. Get a bigger pot. Next, what soil do you have, lighting, are you using any nutes, and how often do you water?
