9 Babies, not looking so good.

I have a total of 9 plants right now, all in soil.

I germinated the seeds in plastic baggies with water, all germ'd in a couple of days, on schedule. I used 2 different kinds of soil, Foxfarm Original Planting Mix (Purchased from hydroponics store in my area) and a Miracle Grow Potting Mix that was supposed to be for sensitive flowers (not alot of fertilizer I think). They are all outside, in flower pots. I water them daily with poland spring water...let me know if I shouldn't be doing that.

I planted them all in pots indoors, and let them sit in the windowsill for about 4-5 days before I put them outside, we had outrageous downpours here and I didn't want to take the chance of putting them outside. They had all sprouted within 3-4 days of being in the soil, but they started leaning over which I suspect is due to lack of light at the windowsill. I put them outside as soon as the rain stopped and it's been like 4 days now. They're all still leaning over, I am perching them all up with sticks/pencils/metal rods and I tied them with sewing thread. I give them a generous amount of water every afternoon around 1-2 PM.

These pictures are kind of shitty, and I apologize, only had my iphone to take pics today, if better pictures are necessary just let me know.

^ that's all of them ^

^ that's "BIG BUD" i purchased from a Holland seed bank last year (forgot the site). that's Forfarm soil with no fertilizers

^ that's "BIG BUD" i purchased from a Holland seed bank last year (forgot the site) that's Potting soil with Miracle Grow in it.

Can someone recommend something I can do to make these suckers stand up or something? They all seem so weak, and the Miracle Grow one looks like it's getting brownish at the bottom of the stem near the soil.

Thanks in advance

Even though the plants don't look that droopy, your problems could possibly be bacause your watering way too much. Seedlings or even large plants do not need to be watered daily. About every 2-3 days depending on your humidity and temperature.

A more accurate way is to just stick your finger into the soil 2" and feel to see if it's wet/damp. Marijuana plants like to have their soil become somewhat dry before watering again. I've heard it somehow boosts the amount of THC? Not 100% on that one, but it's plausible.

Cannabis likes its' soil to get wet, then dry out. Water with a larger amount every few days after the soil 3 inches below the top to get partially dry, I water my plants every 3-5 days, but have a light mist 3x daily.

BTW: Can't see photos. And, window sill light is rarely good enough because the sun won't shine on them as much, and there is no light from the top. And get skewers (very cheap) and some thread and gently tie the plants to it. The droopiness would be caused by over/under watering, and the "leaning" is probably caused by stretching due to phototropism (plants trying to move towards the light). Keep a fan on the plants too, if the stems are being moved by the fan, they will grow stronger, which is needed during flowering to make those big 'ol buds. Get some lights! They're cheap! Grab some high-lumen CFLs and some bases from Home Depot or something, the bases are like $5 and have clamps and reflectors, or can be hung down from something.

they're looking much better, but the stems are really thin, are they getting enough light?

[Leaves are looking good and internodes are short so I'm confused why the stems are so thin???]

Also the soil in most of the pots is bone dry, do you give them plenty of water when you water them?

The best watering for most plants is to water them well then let them dry out quite a bit before watering them well again. That way the roots go searching for water which is better for the plant.

How deep did you plant the seeds? ..the bottom leaves seem to be too high above the soil surface which indicates they were planted too shallow. It'd pay to repot them deeper, so the soil surface is about half an inch below the bottom leaves.

just leave the plants. i also MUST add this 1 thing. if you forgot to put holes on the botton of the cups, then do so NOW. that also may be why your plants got fucked up.. just a guess. water drainage is a good idea so when u water u can tell when you need to stop (once water starts dripping from the bottom hole). and if the clay pots dont have holes i recomend transplanting, not such a big deal. about nutrients, any kind of nutrients with a lot of Nitrogen would be good, like 12-4-5. if you have sticks, you could grind them up in a blender, then mix the powder in 500 ml of water. when you add the nutrient-water, dont water again with nutrient-water until you have watered the plant 2 or 3 times with normal water. once your plant starts flowering do the same thing but with phosporus, like 4-12-4.

yes, i'm thinking they're getting enough light....they're getting thicker by the day, probably appear thin due to me not putting the seeds deep enough, i'll add soil tomorrow so that they're covered more. but yeah, today they were bone dry because i let them dry up for the last 2 days, i soaked them after the pictures

any other advice as far as nutrients or tricks i can do at the moment?

also: i read something a while back about keeping bugs off them...i notice alot of little bugs getting at them...don't really see damage but i notice them alot. wondering if there was anything i can do, i remember reading about some mixture with garlic or something, let me know!

thanks again

update

they're about 7 weeks old now, and they're looking good, couple problems i wanna run by you guys though:

that's one of my alpha bud plants above

i have pine trees that shed these little orange things and i'm wondering if i should be picking these out or just leave them...any idea if they'll affect them?

these bottom leaves seem to be burnt or something, wondering if bugs did this or is this normal for the bottom leaves as the plant grows?

that's the top view of the same plant

above is the side view of my white widow plant, is it too soon to determine sex?

another side view of a white widow plant

group shot of everything

also, when should i be considering transplanting these guys into bigger pots?

thanks in advance guys.
