over Neut, under neut or heat?

She's (hopefully) still chugging away, and growing nicely with my first Topping but I am concerned about the overall yellowing and curling in of many of the lower leaves.

What does it look like to you guys? I raised my lights a bit because I was concerned about heat during the night when the closet door is closed (very little fresh air for 7-10 hours)

What type of medium; soil or hydro?
What brand and type of soil?
Indoors or outdoors?
What strain?
How old are the plants?
What type of lights and how many watts?
How far from the lights?
What, how much and when was it fed? NPK?
What is the medium/runoff pH?
What are the temps and humidity in the room?
What size pots?
Any bugs? Look real close.
Any other pertinent info?

Yeah sorry about that... I went about this grow knowing that I could not spend ANY money on it. My friend gave me all the supplies besides soil and a pot

What type of medium; soil or hydro? - soil
What brand and type of soil? - I actually stole the pot from a law firm next door (haha) and made the mistake of using half of the soil already in there and then filling the rest with organic compost. I recently scraped out as much of the soil as I could (before I hit root structure) and then filled it with miracle gro fluffy grade A potting soil.
Indoors or outdoors? - obviously indoors
What strain? - bag seed... probably from some typical beasters
How old are the plants? - exactly 4 weeks today I think
What type of lights and how many watts? - MH 250 watt
How far from the lights? - about 11 inches
What, how much and when was it fed? NPK? - 1/4 of the amount on the bottle of foxfarm grow big was added to 1 gallon of distilled water. Have not used nutrients since watering with the rest of it (at least a week or a week and half ago). Not sure what NPK means.
What is the medium/runoff pH? - hard to check the PH with a shitty soil test kit but it looked around 6.5-7 ish , hard to say
What are the temps and humidity in the room? - no idea, never seems to get too hot (definitely under 80) but at night when I close the closet door it probably heats up quite a bit (it is a folding closet door so there is still some ventalation) I leave it open during the day.
What size pots? - As you can see, definitely big enough for a large plant
Any bugs? Look real close. - Have not seen any bugs
Any other pertinent info? - THE BOTTOM 2 inches or so are filled with woodchips from a playground.... I know I am RETARDED but at the time I thought it would provide good drainage. Too late now to take them out without disrupting the whole root structure. Also, once again, I played the idiot card and assumed that the expensive Pur tap water filtering system I bought had come with the filter built in... just found out yesterday that It wasn't and installed it. So I had thought I was feeding my plants filtered water this entire time.

Any input from the experienced growers here would be super helpful!! While it definitely doesn't seem to be 'dying' there is obviously something wrong and it hurts me to see leaves yellowish and curling in a bit. Especially the bottom set, the main 2 leaves on either side have turned almost completely yellow and dried up at the tips

it might be the soil your using. miracle grow with the little time released pellets usually burn the shit out of seedlings. i was using miracle grow time released then transplanted to organic/perlite mixture and the plants are looking three times better and are actually growing.

invest in a good ph tester and a hydrometer/thermometer

It looks like it has those white fert pellets in there? Im using miracle grow but it doesn't have the white pellets in there(some nice rich brown/loose/clean soil)but it still contains a formula mixed in ....my leaves are doing that also (curling downward)...thinking it could be the soil now. Will see after i freshly watered them(possible problem also)
