Leaveless Plants

Is it possible for a plant with all its leaves trimmed/died off with just its main stalk and a few axilary stems to grow back by producing more leaves and growth points? Its root system was also damaged by a bonsaii root ball cut from a 3 gallon pot to a 18oz solo cup.

Thanks

If the plant is still alive it is possible for it to regrow if you give it optimal conditions.

Whats a good tell and sign that the plant is still alive

I threw away the other Satori because I thought it was dead, all the stems and tissue inside was dead which lead me to think that the xylem was dead so the plant was dead
