Failed Micro Mom?

I harvested my 2 Satori plants and I wanted to keep them as mothers so I left some green leaves and cut their root system to a pretty small size and placed them in new pots with new soil under some lights.

2 weeks later, all new growth died and turned black and now 1 of the stems are being affected by mold. Looks a lot like a boron def

What did I do that messed up them this badly and what can I do to fix it?

Did you put it back under 18/6 lights? Sounds like it did not survive the transplant and root cutting.

Yeah, back under 18/6 and I guess it didn't survive since I took of like 75% of the roots off
