Hydrogen peroxide, Yes or no?

I have searched forums and found some of you say yes this will help in case of over watering and some say no that it will kill anything organic. If you have used it, did it work without harming the plant?

"Some gardeners and users of hydroponics advocate the use of hydrogen peroxide in watering solutions. They claim that its spontaneous decomposition releases oxygen that enhances a plant's root development and helps to treat root rot (cellular root death due to lack of oxygen)."

Straight from wiki

hope this helps.

I'm in the process of taking care of my plants root rot. I caught it in early stages luckily.
I had to take everything apart and clean my system with bleach water and then put it back together.
After that I used hydrogen peroxide to help flush and clean my roots. 10 mil per one gallon of fresh water. I let it bubble in my system for a couple hours and then drained and remixed nute/water. I added Hygrozyme today. I guess that's supposed to help too.
They "seem" to be doing ok.
