slow growth, leaves edges curling up

the plant dont really look sick its just growing slow. its now three weeks old maybe alittle over 2 inches tall, the newest leaves are huge. i dont know if its not getting tall because its getting enough light and putting its energy into the leaves or if it needs something? its planted in a two gallon pot of pro-mix,i got three 26 watt daylight cfls about 2 inches away and there is a fan on it. lights stay on 24/7 temp 70 -75 the color is alo starting to get alittle pale and some of the outer fringes are pointing up if that means anything. have not gave nutes yet only distilled water so thats about everything i can think to tell you so am i doing anything wrong? should i go ahead and feed it?

Tough call, can you provide pics?

Shortness can be a good thing as long as you are getting leaf/side shute growth.
The pot its in is large for 3 weeks, so keep in mind it could be working on roots also.
Plenty of light for now it sounds like, are they the proper K temp bulbs?
If you do decide to feed it, make sure you heavily dilute since they are so young.

3 weeks old and only 2 inches tall > stalled(slow growth)

Definitely way past feeding time.Promix is basically just a base start for a organic medium.

Your plants are starving. You are almost 2/3 the way through a normal veg cycle(depending on strain)

I would start now with a light fert to light a fire under those plants.

could be the roots cause when i transplanted the dirt fell apart and some of the roots were hangin. but side growth is alright just uneven. the newest leaves are 3 inches long and 3 inches wide so they block alot of the light. its pretty cool looking though 6 inches wide and not even two inches tall

pro-mix has starter nutes in it so your not supposed to feed for 20-30 days so i know its about time to feed it but all i have is high yield 20-20-20 it does not have micro nutes in it but can i use this for now then switch to peters 20-20-20 with micronutes

Starter nutes? Whats the NPK on your bag of Promix?

The Peters is a decent fert with lots of trace and micros but go light.Burns easy

I would go with a seaweed or fish fert if you wanna stay organic.

If the dirt fell from the roots then the soil was wet.Make sure to transplant with a dry medium.
