weak stem base

hey everyone

this is my 1st grow so im not sure if my plants are okay or not but the bases of my stems look pretty weak . I started the plants from seed under a 200 watt floro for about 2 or 3 weeks and now their out in my greenhouse soakin up the sun. The seedling stems were kinda small but i figured theyd just thicken up. Now that their in the vegetative stage they are growing thicker stems up above the seedling growth but that initial growth isnt thickening out at all and the plants are kinda top heavy. I just put a circulating fan on them this morning cause i heard that will help. For fertilizer im using 'jungle green' from extremegrowing.com and im watering every 2 or 3 days with fertilizer every second watering. Im growing 'outsider' strain and some seeds i picked out of a bag. heres pictures of a couple plant im concerned about.

sorry bout the shitty pics i took em on my phone. any help would be greatly aprreciated. peace

Oh dude mine did the same thing. They're about 10 inches high now and the stems are starting to thicken out and get harder. So I don't think you have anything to worry about.

You did the right thing by putting a fan on them, they shouldv had a fan on them from day 1 to avoid this problem.

Maybe if you pack it with gravel and nails. With dirt, your fine, just try not to bury any leaves.

If you want that stem to get thicker you can pinch it a bit between your fingers to bruise the stem when it heals the stem will get thicker and more woody or ligneous, almost like supercropping but not as harsh (not hard enough to make the stem fall over to the side). I have used this with success on seedlings of about 2 real leaf sets.
