they're too small

hi! i dont understand why they're so small[today about 9cm]..im using correct lamps[6500k 5x22w cfl for two snow-white plants] today is the 8growing day, they looks healthy green, but lil bit stretched..
some guys told me what should i do[put the lights closer, use one fan, which blows on the plants, make some co2] - i done it,but nothing changed..
what are the sign that plants are overwatered,or not enough o2 in soil? these are the only variants i have left..

this is a few days old picture

what kind of nutrients i can add to soil if plants are just 8 days old? maybe plants need some nutrients to grow faster?! maybe low concentrated npk nutrients?

Don't rush anything, follow the directions for seedlings/early veg on your nutrients, as a matter of fact i'd even go 1/2 or less that amount until at least the first set of fan leaves comes out.

from when are you counting the first day of veg? You're not supposed to add nutes to soil for the first 2-3 weeks, maybe even a month.

If you're using fluoro's you'll need to get them real close to the plant.

Other than that the plants look fine.

small stems and stunted growth

im new to growing and i have 6 plants growing in a rubbermaid stealth grow trashcan i made.... just started the veg and i want to know why my plants are staying so small... same exact situation the first poster had...

what can i do to promote the growing?

red and blue led bulbs possibly???

i have 4, 15w floros on the plants equaling roughly 5000k lumens on the plants for a 3-4 sq ft. container...

please hurry, want to see SOME results...

Go out and buy a REAL light like a 400W MH and watch them take off. Stop wasting time with head lights.

Proper conditions is the best thing you can do, I know ive read another one of your posts somewhere but cant remember what you have.
What type of soil is it? How far away are your bulbs?
What type of water are you using?
As stated above, do not use nutes until the first month is over to be safe, you can however go out and purchase some superthrive which gives most people great results and can be known to kick start growth. I should tell you however, if you pick some up, use 1 drop per gallon of distilled water, no more!

i've been reading up on the indoor growing and it says use floros... im not using strips as i dont want to pay up the ass for a couple 2 foot fixtures.... i have, like i said- 2 bulbs lighting the sides, and 2 directly lighting my main plant....

the sides of the can and lid of the can are all covered in aluminum foil so i can distribute the light, and i have one shop fan keeping my closet cool and 3 computer fans ported into can keeping the grow can cool.

soil.... im a complete noob on the nutes ph and everything.... i used reg planting soil.... using regular filtered water. not tap... and my buld are roughly 4 to 5 inches above my main plant...

UPDATE! after my post i put all the lights on my plants and this morning i woke up to, what seems like, a new set of leaves poppin up...

am i gettin anywhere?

thanks for the replies.
