Space Heater in grow room?

I have a small grow room with one 2 foot plant.
I'm growing a little north, and it's still a bit chilly;
But I don't want my girl to be cold! The space
heater seems to make the edges burn.

Should I leave her in the cold and force her to deal
Or get a smaller heater, and leave it outside?

Any thoughts?

It gets seriously cold in the part of the world where I grow and I have been using a small oil filled electric space heater. It is safe (doesn't have a fan and only radiates heat) and does a nice job of keeping the room (mine is 7x4x8) at a nice temperature when the lights are off. When the lights are on, the temps are pretty well regulated and the room approaches 80 degrees or so.

I would think that unless your heater is too close to your plant that it shouldn't be affecting the leaves... may be you have a nute problem??
