over-watering?

heres the shpeel....every since my shit sprouted the leaves have been seriously curled down. new growth will be goood then slowly curl. My first set of true leaves slowly yellowed got brown spots then croaked.

got three plants just over 4 weeks old and one clone.

soil is organic and contains peat moss, lime, perlite, and composted materials. I also added another 20-25% perlite.

humidity between 40%-70% at the most ... usually 45-60

temps 69 at night- 75 at the most. sunleaves pioneer cfl tubes spectrum for veg used to be 10-15 inches away at first...moved within 5 inches last week with the appearance of more leaves.

I don't have a ph tester yet (i knw don't give me shit its on its way) i use distilled water. a week and a half ago i ferted one with 1/4 strenght earth juice grow which killed that first set of leaves that looked like shit promptly and grew a bunch of nice new leaves...which curled under within the week

i have a clone too with some serious curling action.

i think i may be overwatering...i do it every 3ish days and i do it very thoroughly. soil does seem a little to wet when i squeeze it. maybe i need diff. soil. if this is the problem then how could i remedy it? transplant?
otherwise i'm sure its ph which i can fix next week when i get my tester.
Thanks for reading.

pics would help a ton man.

but you really need to know the PH of your soil before anyone can diagnose the problem properly. (lol not givin ya shit.. just sayin )

as far as watering doing it by weight of the pot really works when you get a feel for it. Just lift a dry pot and lift a wet pot and you can tell by the weight.
those cheap soil moisture meters work really well too.
