Poor little baby looks like its dying...with PICS

ok so ive got two 3-week old babies...5" from cfls(42watt)...there are two cfls per plant...i water every 3 days about...the soil is miracle grow 9month feeding from walmart...i have a 12" fan blowing on them at all times...

one plant is bright green and looks great...the other is a really light green, almost yellowish with a couple brown spots and the leaves droop down and seem soft compared to the other...they have both been taken care of the exact same..whats wrong with my baby? lol

also...i bought this plant feed...will this be ok? when do i start using it?...it says 15-20 drops per quart of water...how much do i use?

From the size of it I can see that it's very small for 3 weeks old. Mine are three weeks old at the minute and they're a lot bigger. I think your problem is the dreaded Miracle Grow soil that you're using, 9 month feed sounds like it has shitty old time release nutrients. I think your plant is probably fucked unless you transplant it to new soil and wash the old soil off its roots.

Also - Those nutrients probably aren't any good, they're for houseplants and cannabis ain't a houseplant, despite where you're growing it

Ok look most of the time when you see a problem like this on one plant and not the other one the other will likely have that same problem unless you change some things. Yah I think you should seriously consider googleing to see if theres a hydro store in your area and getting some bomb nutrients made for what your lookin for. Just talk to the employees they will help you out. I also agree that you should consider transplanting but after you try to rinse most of that soil off the roots. I'm not sure if thats a good idea but I would probly do it if I was you. You can also purchase some great organic soil at your local hydroshop. You may be able to save that one if you act quickly. I think soil goes for aroun $25.95 and nutrients are around $15.99. Thats not bad at all. Good luck

Damn all that dude, the last thing you need to do is to add more food in there. I bout ProMix for my little sprouts and they seemed to love it, and it is only about $10 at home depot ( 4 cu ft). It says its perfect for plants requiring a PH level of 5.5-7 which is what cannabis needs. Also I agree with that guy ( sorry man cant remember your name at the moment) my plants are almost 3 weeks old and they are waaaaaaaay bigger than yours, your plants only look like they are about 1 week old bro and its gotta be because of your soil. There was a post a while back about miracle grow and the guy had horrible results. If you are strapped for cash then I would reccomend ProMix but if you got a little money to spend I would reccomend VICS SUPER SOIL it seems to work great so far and I have only heard great things about it so thats why I chose it. I hope that your plants are alright.

I think.... you should transplant using some good organic soil and don't use any nutes, just use some super thrive until the plants look healthy again. also... when you transplant dont rinse off the roots, the plants have a better chance of survival if you leave it with a root ball to its new soil.

make sure whatever nutes you do decide to use doesnt use the 'urea nitrate' type of nitrogen. thats a non water soluble kind of N. and is much harder for marijuana plants to uptake, as well as they leave more nute buildup and salts behind in the soil. alot of MG nute products use the urea nitrate crap.

Yeah that soil was just too hot for the seedling.
Be smart, don't hit it with nutes until you see N-deficiency appearing.
It's very easy to overnute pre-nuted soil so be careful there.
