Pale, drooping, some burnt tips

I need some help.

10 plants under a 400W MH. Soil. 14 days. Bagseeds.

This is my fist time so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I feel that after 2 weeks, these are still looking a little small to me. The leaves have turned a pale green, almost yellow. They are drooping, with the edges and tips hanging down. The tips of the leaves are starting to turn brown, and a few little tips on the edges of the leaves are doing the same. The soil is a Scotts lawn soil with fert already added, but I don't know exactly what and in what amounts.

I had the light set up horizontal overhead, but when I found the bathroom exhaust fan hung my light so nicely I couldn't help changing to a vertical type setup. I don't think it matters either way for now but tell me in what direction you think I should go with my space.

Any and all advice is welcome.

Thanks!

Yea, looks like you have some burning going on. Its too soon for fertilizer. Generally speaking you want to stay away from soil with ferts, or feeding them anything for the first few weeks. Peat pots can burn sometimes too.
Some might recommend a flush, some might recommend you transplant those into better soil, whichever, id do it asap.

No ferts for the first 2 weeks - that's a must for healthy seedlings. What soil are they in? What is the pH of your water? It should be around 6.5 to 6.8. That's important.
