Yellowing Leaves

I've got a plant that is 2 wks and 6 days old. My problem is yellowing of the original leaf set. (the two large leaves at the first node) My ph is 6.8, temps are 75-83F. Plenty of circulation is in the area. What is causing the yellowing? It's coming on really slowly. It's just like almost a slow browning of that first leaf set. Nute deficiency? Nute burn from the soil? (its all organic) I doubt I have ph lock at 6.8... Can anyone help me out? I purchased a bottle of flora nova bloom but have no idea what dosages I should start with. I'd appreciate any and all help with this problem.

P.s.- how do you raise and lower ph levels of your soil?

at 6 days they shouldnt need nutes. most people wait untilt he cotyledons fall off or yellow none the less, it could be something soil based give it a few more days and if its getting worse then try ferts

My plant will be three weeks old tomorrow actually and the cotys have fallen off. So does this indicate it could be a nute deficiency?

if your soil has nutes it's probably burn. how long have they been in it? i'd go to ph of 6.5.

nutes are nutes. chemical or organic, if you add them too soon, you'll get burned. i'd get them out of the soil.

i havent added any nutes. so i guess you're saying that the soil is the problem alone. if i were to change what soils i have the plants in, then what type of soil should i get? i dont know how to get soil any safer than what i have...

you can try flushing the soil with correct ph'd water. I would slowly run about 4 times the volume of the container of ph'd water through it.

what soil are you using? hopefully not MG organic.....

if you have access locally to fox farm ocean forest soil, that would be a good move to make when re-potting. just cut it with about 1/3 perlite.

I have several clones I turned into mothers growing in this mix. they love it.
