I know I thought I would never find myself asking a question after all the research I've done, but this has stumped me totally. I've got three babies growing right now, abotu the 4th day or so. the second two were planted after the first one, roughly a day after. The problem is, the second two are showing good signs, they have the four leaves on them, like all normal plants. The first one though only has the two rounded leaves, not the jagged ones. I know this may sound wierd, but that is what is happening. I lowered thel ights and it has made ahuge improvement, but still no sign of an other leaves sprouting. Any ideas what could/would cause this? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

ive had weird things happen to seedlings before too. one crop - i had a new strain of 12 seedlings just coming in. one day - overnight, one just up and died. another stopped growing. maybe that one seedling is just slow.

Well see, I've got fresher air coming in now and haven't watered it for a couple days now, seems to be fine. any other ideas?

not got a problem mate as seeds take different times for growing they dont grow uniformed like clones ,so dont worry mate they'll be fine.

try & put a light right on the 1 with the cotlydone & that'll help it along.

this time next week you'll have 3 ladies with true sets of leaves

what the cotlydone? Ok, I've upped the wattage, now running 1x42, 2x30, 1x23 on three main plants, two that really dont matter, I was just going to LST with them and try it out. I'm thinking about just ditching those to keep the other ones.The first one still shows no sign of other leaves, 6 days after planting, the one I thought would be the best is like 2 inches tall and has a purplish/red stem, but shows good signs of leaves. The third is short, its going to have a strong stem, and is doing very well.

-Does all this sound normal for the first week? It is bagseed so I guess all the different behavior might be acceptable.

-How far should my lights be away? The temp is roughly 80, but I just switched to the 42watt.

-Should I have the lights in a dome reflector or just out in the open?
