need help with cloning

i have a female plant that has reached up to its 7 leaf stage and all bottom leaves are dying and are yellow and curling down the top looks perfect though i wasent sure if i should just cut the top and clone the plant or just ride it out???

Cloning won't solve your problem. You need to fix what's wrong with your situation instead, whether that's the nutes, pH, temps or whatever.

Clones don't always take, and cuttings taken from the top of the plant are harder to root than those taken lower down. If you cut your plant now, and it doesn't root you loose everything. Better to get your plant back to being healthy and THEN take cuttings if you want them.

Post some pics and more info about your grow and I'm sure the resident experts will be able to help you figure out what's wrong.
