It's kinda sad that I can't even get to a respectable depth in my grow before something goes awry...
So last time I took some good bagseed and germinated it, only one out of 50 sprouted (WTF right?) No it wasnt water PH or contaminants, at first glance I couldnt see anything wrong, but then camouflaged in the paper towel were tiny tiny white maggot looking insects. Upon further examination, I find these little crawling bugs coming OUT of the seeds.
After being fully creeped out by this (anyone ever hear/ see something like this?) I put in a new batch of seeds, but this time it was from a real nice bag and out of a QP I got like 10 seeds. After 4 days of watching and waiting, I come home to see that little black spots are covering my damp towel...
Luck is not on my side (I should also clean up my grow area realy well huh??) So I discarded the infected towel and transfered the seeds, cleaned in distilled water, to a new towel and new area of my home.
Hope this doesnt kill off these seeds, only two are cracked open and of them, I think one might die. Well, I guess my question is, have any of you seen white maggot looking bugs about twice the size of the tip of a ball point pen? I would like to know so I can fight them off if I see more.
Also, do you guys think a little black mold will kil/ hinderl these seeds? I think maybe 5 will make it if Im lucky...
Ohh well, jsut letting off some steam from an extremely stressful day of some major unfortunate events. Hope all is well with you all.
