Help? What's wrong?

Are they getting burnt? Air flow problems.
Hydro Hut 2 X 4
Can fan/filter combo
1000 watt HID - not air cooled
PH 6.4 been having trouble getting it down. PH test kit sucks, not sure of accuracy.
Up to half dose of nutrients as stated for gallons of water. No PPM meter.
Temp ranges anywhere from 74 to 82. Not sure why it's always fluctuating.
Humidity ranges from 30 to 40. Is there a humidifier that will work in there?
I have two of the remaining vents blowing fresh air into the hut, with 4" duct. Not sure at what air flow.

Sorry about photo quality.

Sorry, no digital photo at the moment.

It is 55 inches wide, and 29 inches deep and it's 7 feet tall.

I am thinking that the problem is mostly due to the fact that the humidity was low. And, in combination with the 1000 watt unvented; major problems.

I installed a 400 watt vented. Temps are staying lower a lot easier.

Next task is to figure out how to increase humidity.

yeah, that tent is way too small for 1000w! 400w is a little small for that area, but ok. My guess is that the low humidity is due to poor extraction, could be that the extractor, cf or inlet fan isn't big enough, or maybe you don't have it set up efficiently.

I have a can fan rs 4l as my exhaust. I have a tower fan with two 4 inch tubes blowing air into the hut. I currently have a room humidifier in the room blowing at the tower. Humidity is up to 41%, but still low. I do have the exhaust running 24/7. I guess I am worried about odor control. Should I have humidity control? The temp stays at about 77 degrees F with the 400. Should I move up to a 600 watt light? I am planning on upgrading my fresh air fan, with something better. I could use some help here.

With the light change and the humidifier bringing up the humidity some, the new growth is starting to come in green and healthy, so I know there is improvement.

I threw in a lid to a large rubbermaid container into my room, when I water, I fill it up, and it's in front of my circulateing fan. Should be all the humidity you need. You have to get cool air in and make a carbon filter for exhaust. I used heavy duty screen and a 4" tube with a 150cfm fan pulling on the carbon.
