Plant tried hugging the light

My pant is about a foot tall, in the last 24 hours decided to shoot up almost 3 inches resulting in some of the older leaves and newly sprouted ones touching my light, they now gone brown, what shall i do with them leave them or take them off?

if the leaves are dead then they're dead. not gonna come back, so you might as well take em off. Use a sharp blade and cut the stem at a 45 degree angle.

do you have a picture?

you can usually just remove dead leaves, but depends on how many you need to remove.
