Ph Testers and Soil questions

With good organic potting soil is it likely that a plant will lack nutes at any point in growing? Are the cheap PH testers easy to use with soil? Where should I be able to purchase one - a nursery?

generally most plants will need supplemental feeding

go to my site (see link below) watch the streaming video on PH soil runoff PH & flushing, it will help
