Is pyrethrins and canola oil pretty safe for plants?

I might have an issue with caterpillars and want to take a step to make sure they don't keep hatching. This is supposed to work and is safe for most plants apparently.

I was going to use the Fruit and Vegetable spray.

By the way, the pyrethrins level is only .01%.

Id prefere you use Neem Oil

Pyrethrin products
the manufacturers of the Pyrethrin products only say there has been no substantial testing to support any problems with humans and Pyrethrins....but there is a whole lot of people that say they dont need thier testing, they are real sick from Pyrethrins & dirivitives Pyrethrins of already!!, & they all cant be wrong

sounds ok, give it a try, but use a test plant and only spray 1/2 the plant to ensure its not going to hurt it

then let us know how it goes
