so me and my friend have been growing some plants for 9 months.. almost 10..and yesterday, we couldnt help it, we picked off of 1 tree. this was our first time growing it so, we arent sure it its ready yet or not? and im not sure what to do after i pick it...please help and let me know. heres some pictures.

What color are the pistils? white or amber? A good indicator that your plant is mature is the change from white to amber of 60-70% of the pistils?

nice camera Nin...i'm on a shitty computer, most of the time, and your photo far exceedes any other photo......anyway, yea way too early...to smoke what ya got put oven on bake, 350,...set timer for 3-4 mins...oven shuts off...turn bud and wait another 5 min or so and it will smoke quite well...don't over bake though...you'll get a buz... and purchase a pocket microscope from radio shack 10$, check trich color...i did and it is worth it's weight in gold...bud......cheers.

If you want it to still get all the energy out of the stem etc. Dry slow. It's still growing even though you clipped it.

Leave the hole thing as one and hang it in a cool dark place. Use a fan to circulate the air and let it go fo three days.(if the temp is around 60 deg.) Then If the leaves crispy clip the buds from the main stem and put in a bag for 3-4 days in a cool room.(if they dried all the way put in jar) You can leave the bag open if you want but I close mine and check twice a day to air out.

Trust me. When it is dried put it in a jar and let it go as long as possible it will taste 100% better than drying and smoking. Put the jar in the darkest place you can. Check it every day to see if the buds moistens back up. If they do spread them out on a piece of paper and then put back in the jar.Leave on the paper for 2-3 hours or when they feel dry again.

THE LONGER YOU WAIT TO SMOKE THE BETTER. The THC cures and gets the flavor and smell of the natural stain grown. No Orange peels etc.

Have fun it is a process but it is worth it. My friends think mine is indoor and in fact it is outdoor.

You may want to get yourself a pocket microscope they have some that zoom up to 120x which is plenty to see trichome development which btw is a really good way to determine when your plant is ready to harvest .

maybe a little bit creamier color throughout the trichomes but basically if you get them looking the way they do in that image your in the clear
