pH range for soilless mix.

hey all

. i been reading post after post and saw something about the pH range is lower than soil mediums. so my question is, whats the optimal range. and how often should i feed em. right now im keeping is about 6.8 to 7.0 and using all purpose mg 24-8-16, for my vegging sprouts and bloom boost for my clones and im having a helluva time keeping my larger plant healthy. any help will be greatly appreciated..... thanks alot, shen P.S i have no clue how to post pics so help in that area would be great as awell... shen

medium is 50/50 perlite and vermiculite.

optimal ph for soil is 6.5. hydro is (imo) 5.8.

soil 6.5-6.8
soilless 5.7-6.0
hydro 5.5-5.8

thanks for the help guys. ive been popping in here for lil while and have got alot of very usefull info from alot of your guys, especially GG, and growbot seems to know a thing or two

. now i need to learn how to lower pH. i have pH up and down but really not sure how much to use and im horrible as math to calculate the measurements in easier to digest pieces. i gots some calculating to do ( glad my gf is ok im math.) THANKS .. shen

OMG! that was the best GG thanks alot, cleared a helluva lot up for me and everyone else thats watched it. some are sceptical of ur knowledge but i follow it almost exclusively along ith a few other heads on the board.. thanks bunches and maybe ill start a grow journal when i situate a few things.. thanks alot /bow

You don't get personal requests for help on boards unless you seriously know what you are talking about and have expressed it several times. GG is the name I hear the most over fixing sick plants, that speaks for itself.
