Is this normal? CFL grow. Perhaps heat stress? *PICS*

Ok well my plant is 1 month 1 week into flowering. Alot of the fan leaves have been just turning brown and shriveling up on the plant. I feed it as needed, not overwatering or anything. I'm using Shultz African Violet plant food which is a 8-14-9 mix I think at 1/2 strength. The plant usually gets fed about 1 litre of water every other day with nutes onces every other watering. Is that good or should I use more?

Also, the buds on here look pretty small. On 2 out of 3 of the pics where u see buds forming, they are quite small. On one I have a 42W CFL about 1/2" away from the tip and it's still pretty small isn't it?

Thanks for any help? My setup consists of 7 CFLs, 1 42W 2700k, and 6 32W 2700K CFLs.

I've also included a pic of my clone! I took her off of the plant that's having these issues, but she has came out wonderful I can't believe it. I just put her on 12/12 but not feeding any nutes yet. Any help on when to use nutes on her would be great... but she is growing like wildfire.

the clones is looking ok....but mama is fert burnt, nitrogen toxicity is evident."the calw" look of the leaves and very dark leaves, slow growth (nitrogen inhibits flowering)

complete a soil runoff PH test.......
with PH corrected water (6.5-6.8PH ) pour enough water in the pots so the water runs out the bottom of the pot ...test the PH of this water....

If the PH reading is out of optimum range 6.5-6.8 PH, you need to flush your plant.
Flush with PH corrected water, till in optimum PH range, 3 times the volume of the pots rule of thumb but may require much more flushing if the rootball is thick & sour
EG: 1 gal pot = 3 gal. flush

you need to flush regardless of the ph reading to leech out excess ferts

Vegatative cycle fertilizer
Miracle-GroŽ Water Soluble All Purpose Plant Food (they make several fertilizers be sure its this one)
http://www.miraclegro.com/index.cfm/...c0236933b0a7a4
Fertilizer Analysis: 24-8-16 with micronutrients
2 level "Teaspoons" per gallon of water, (reduce this by 50% first time application) use this as your water, feed every other watering till flowering

Flowering cycle
I recommend Fertilome, Root Stimulator and plant starter....
the NPK is perfect: 4-10-6
2 teaspoons per gallon of water every other watering........ use this as your water ...discontinue use 3 weeks prior to harvest...flush last 2 weeks...I also like to add 1 tablespoon of unsulphured molasses to the last gallon of the flush......thats it no more water .....

ganja... thanks for your reply. But could you please give me a bit more info. What are these signs of nitrogen burn. And also the last plant I tried to flush just flopped over an hour later. It was in a 2 gallon pot, and I flushed with 6 gallons of water..... now the thing is, am I supposed to dumb 6 gallons of water in as quick as I can, or should I do this over time? Could you please explain flushing a little better. And if i'm using a nute like the shultz african violet, then why am I experiences too much nitrogen?

I feed it as needed,
I guess you thought it needed more than it did

6 gallons now at once ( as fast as the plant can drain it ), to flush the excess ferts,

African violet fert?

Isn't african violet fertilizer a highly acidic fert? Or is my memory failing me?
