| Need Advice Please
Hi
I have some plants in the fruiting stage in 5 gallon soil containers. The room temperature hovers around 80. There is good ventillation. The medium is peatmoss, perlite, dolomite, and mushroom compost. The buds are growing healthily but the lower leaves are yellowing and also various mid and upper leaves are browning and becoming dry and crinkly(mostly at the tips but also at leaf base).
The browned tips curl both up and down. The browned leaves are not falling off on their own.
I used a soil test kit and this showed a N depletion, a P toxicity, and a slight K deficiency. I flushed the plants out with plain water which tests a pH of a little above 7. I have been using a complete N-P-K fertilizer. I have bought SeaBird Guano. My questions are...
How much fertilizer should I use? How much guano should I add? Does this sound like a fertilizer issue in the first place? How often should I fertilize?
Any and all help from experienced growers is appreciated.
Thanks.
