Black Spots, please help!

I live in the furthest northeastern state in the US. I have a bunch of plants growing outside and they all have been doing amazing. Most have shown their sex all ready (which I think is very early seems how they showed sex with 15hours of daylight).

My problem is that on each head where there is new growth I have some kind of black stuff forming. It isn't on every plant but seems to be happening to more and more every day. It doesn't seem like it is a mold because it even happened when the climate was very dry for a while. It actually starts to wilt and die where the problem is at it's worst. I had the same problem with a couple of plants last year, and the problem spots actually creates very poor bud development. It almost seems like it is some kind of bug that is leaveing behind a waste of some kind or maybe its eggs. The stuff doesn't just rub off like it is on the surface but seems like it is inside the new leaves.

That is the best I can describe it without putting up a picture. Sorry I don't have a pic but to me that seems a little crazy to be posting pics of my crop on the internet for anyone to see. Bad enough I have to talk about my stuff, but the problem is getting bad enough where I have to figure something out. All you that do post pics, you are some ballsy mofo's!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

what you describe sounds like phosphorus defenciey in the vegatative state

which is commonly confused because of a mould look darkening patches that are still soft and supple then the whole leaf begins wilting

you need to change ferts if you get a phosphorus def in veg

because the budding cycle wants something higher in phosphorus than anything else

Im almost positive that it is not because of a phosphorus def. but i could be wrong. My black spots start right inside each little tip of new growth. Sometimes it starts inside a few nodes down the branch. It isn't affecting other larger more mature leaves. Even the small leaves that lead up to the very tip of the branch are not affected.

I guess it may be a fungus or mold of some kind. Is that common with what I described is happening to my plants? It's been humid the past couple of days but was dry for a while leading up to the humidity. Does it happen that fast? Whatever it is it is scaring the hell out of me, I'm not about to loose my crop! If it is mold of some kind, what is the remedy for that?

I've look around and can't find a picture or description that seems like my issue. Someone must have had this problem before!

I guess I really am the only person that has this problem! Nothin on there looks at all what my plants look like. Not even in the mold section. I can't find it at any other web sites either. Oh well, thank you for your help. Much appreciated!

Dude, I think I know exactly what you're talking about because I have that on some new growth as well. I too would love to know what it is. Let me look for a pic that shows it. Nope no pics, but make sure it's nothing on here, I see nothing about my slight issue, but I've seen it on some earlier leaves that seem fine now.

I definitely can tomorrow, and I'll get them up. But what he describes is exactly what I got going on. It started before when they were getting WAY too much rain and were starting to get overwatered and too much humidity. I got that under control and it seemed to stop, now it seems to have started up again on SOME new growth, but the sites where it was before seemed to grow out naturally, so I didn't complain, but decided to search on it just in case. But yes, tomorrow I'll get some pics up, actually I hope it's gone! But it probably won't be.

Just tried to grab some pics in the mostly dark and almost got drilled by a bat, needless to say the pics didn't come out, pics tomorrow.

Unfortunately these pictures suck, but you can KIND OF see some darkening. Sorry this is the best I could do, I'm an idiot with this camera and the flash won't turn off.

I know of no nute issue that produces black as a color of it's symptoms so I'm guessing it's a pathogen.
Never saw that one before though, so you need a second and maybe a third opinion.

That's the thing, I can't find anything on it and haven't seen it before either.
