White spotting on leaves / Help a n00b

New plants, unknown history. Sprayed for spider mites because of signs of infestation. The others seem to be rebounding, but this plant has a unique problem as indicated by the pictures.

Brown dots, white circles, we saw something similar not long ago.

It's a pest, (a small (6mm) beetle type affair) and that's where it's feeding.

Neem the little beggar, and search underside of leaves for 2-3mm diam egg clusters.

GG will be along shortly with some alternative concoctions you can spray the plant with.

with clones or small plants of that size that are infested such as yours, its easier and more effective to just dip the whole clone in the neem oil mix, no need to spray it

re-treat the plant every 3 days for 2 weeks

It's a spray with .20% pyrethrins. After reading your posts I just hit it again, it has only been two days. How will I know when it's gone? Will the spray harm the plant?

it may harm the plant I have had strains that dont like it, I wish you would would use neem oil instead because Pyrethrin products may harm you

the manufacturers of the Pyrethrin products only say there has been no substantial testing to support any problems with humans and Pyrethrins....but there is a whole lot of people that say they are real sick from Pyrethrins, & everybody cant be wrong

His problem doesn't look anything like mine did.
Wrong color, wrong size.
His problem looks like something we call 'Hagelschotziekte' in Dutch.
I cannot find the English word for this, but it's caused by a fungus/bacteria infection and it makes your plant look like it's been shot with small hailstones.
Just about anything with sufficient Sulphur in it will suffice.
You can safely try an Epsom Salt spray.

And that beetle Rabiez is referring to is not a beetle but a 'common green capsid'.
That's 12 mm worth of trouble: cannot be killed with chemicals without killing the plant or rendering its buds useless. Also it has no natural enemies. When infested, picking them by hand is the only viable option. Apple farmers go bananas over this little bugger.

Here's the thing; you found a bug, and its' eggs on your plant. You claimed (with your usual unwarrented authority) that it was a 'common green capsid'. However, after a little research, it became obvious to me that the picture you posted of your bug, did not match any pictures of any capsids to be found on the web. For this reason, I decided not to propogate your untruths, and instead referred to the bug as a 'small beetle type affair', which is how it appears to the casual observer.

As for your 'out of context' claim, I think you'll find that I usually quote the whole of your text, in the right order, much as I'd prefer not to. I chop it up to answer individual points; yes, but I don't think I've ever edited your words, or ignored any of your arguments.

I think my posting style is waay cool. It makes it easy for me to remember (and readers to see (I hope)) which point I'm tackling, and helps me to avoid lengthy rants.

You asked for advice, and GG gave you some, which you dismissed as unnecessary, claiming to have found another solution, which got GG bent out of shape calling you a troublemaker who takes others advice and claims all the credit, and an unsavory name or two, citing previous dealings with you as evidence, to which you cried foul and alerted the mods, who came and growled at GG.

You then continued to unsuccessfully verbally antagonise GG into losing his temper for a whole two pages before letting the thread lie.

At which point; I was uninvolved. I was subscribed to the thread, but hadn't posted in it.

A week or so after the thread had died with your last word, you brought it back to life with a post that was littered with inconsistencies when measured against your previous posts to the thread. It also said that even though you'd taken GG's advice, he's still wrong.

At this point I chimed in and asked you to explain a few of the inconsistencies in the bragging you were doing, and after failing to confuse me with Dutch websites, and made-up science (one of the things GG had already called you on), you resorted to abusing me instead.

So then I laughed at you, and you abused me some more, and then other people laughed at you.

And then you deleted the whole thread.
