PH runoff high

My water is a reverse osmosis around 6.5 ph, when I tested the runoff (becuase im having a problem with my new seedlings that I had with my k2) it came out to a 7.5 ish ph

When ferts are added should it lower this? what should I do about the problem? add ph down? im having the lower leave turning yellow issue again, plants seem to be growing slow

With ferts added to the reverse osmosis, the ph is around 6.0
My tap is around 7.0

in therory you have got it , however you cant fertilize seedlings

you need to use PH down to balance your water , the nitrogen in the ferts is what burns the seedlings.

but might it not be easier on both you and the plants to transplant to better soil now,
seedlings recover fast

Awesome, it was just simple organic nutes at 1/4 doseage, suprised it did anything. So my PH runoff was good?

When it is time to add ferts should I add it to the tap or reverse osmosis?

Reverse with ferts = around 6.0 ph

I also have a clone thats about a week and a half old, should I give it any nutes?

your runoff is very high, thats why I suggested you get better soil, if what you add is acidic (your ferts) then why is the new seedling soil ph so high? must be the soil no?
are you adding lime, calmag and such to your soil

your clones can take ferts soon as they have roots

use the tap water to mix the ferts & your good to go

Its hyponex + perlite + vermaculite @ 4/1/1 ratio

I should probably transplant, but dont want to make the trip to the hyrdo store again.. would rather get some dirt from the depot or something then transplant into my ocean forest

well your problems I really attribute to the shitty soil.....

hyponex...AKA scotts.....AKA Miracle grow

transplant asap to soil with no nutes pre-added

Hyponex is supposed to be plain dirt, nothing added, what other dirts are fertless other than the hydro store

they wont really tell you whats in it
this is printed on your package....

this product is regionally formulated from organic materials (primarily derived from one or more of the following:hypnum peat, forest products or compost), sand & perilite

Suffice it to say ....no good for seedlings 3 of 5 ingredients above contain nutes & fairly high in nitrogen

bake a qt of regular outdoor topsoil in the oven to kill pathogens..... for your seedlings seedligs
