My baby died

Well, 1 out of 4 of my plants have just died. I just pulled it out of the pot and put it in the soil of my biggest plant. But I just want to know what killed it.

I think it was the pot size. It was in a very small pot and it out grew it.
What do you think?

It actually looked pretty healthy to me?

I doubt that the size of that pot could KILL the plant, I have left bigger plants in dixie cups and all that happended is they were stuted util repot.

Maybe underwatering/overwatering could be the culprit, I know when I tried growing outdoors even in socal I could never really be in control of vital signs, which bugged the shit out of me. So I cleared out a bathroom, got a 250hps/mh and a few cfls, and havent looked back.

Good luck with the other plants, be sure to keep a good eye on them.
