Cant really be 100% but it looks like Nute lock. If you have not changed (except for flowering) the nutes. the roots could be staying wet. Best to wait till soil is dryer than usual and if you have a moisture meter wait till like between 1-2 (very dry) before watering. And flush your medium next watering with just pure water ph 6.5

Did you just water (within 24 hours of this happening)?

PS... IF you are close to harvest and it is just affecting the fan leaves thats OK as long as it is not affecting those beautiful buds.

Let us know.

Nutrition defficientcys id say.
Id take an inch or 2 off the surface of you pot medium,
flush your medium with delluted hydrogen peroxide(not the shelf kind) + water,
What strain is it?
How many Ml do you feed your plants?
more nutrition than water?if so than 200ml of water every day is good for every 2nd day.

Fan leaves play a good part in flowering. The buds feed off of them for flowering
(thats why the leaves go a bit yellow)

Just leech the soil like I said,
and lay off of the nutes a bit(considering you said theyre getting worse every day).

But they look good.
You just got a bit dusty, thats all.

Thx a bunch for the fast response. I had figured a bit of flushing will solve things but I wanted some advise before I go in to many wrong directions at once.

Im not sure of the exact strain since they were cuttings from a friend, but just about anything from here in the NW is decent. Needless to say Im getting excited to find out.
I alredy have babies to replace these guys so I am trying to re-learn as I go.

This Site is GREAT! Reading many many post has helped me during every phase of this project.

Again THX!

before you doing anything, I suspect a ph problem

To rule out PH related issues complete a soil runoff PH test.......
with PH corrected water (6.5-6.8PH ) pour enough water in the pots so the water runs out the bottom of the pot ...test the PH of this water....
If the PH reading is out of optimum range 6.5-6.8 PH, you need to flush your plant.
Flush with PH corrected water, till in optimum PH range, 3 times the volume of the pots rule of thumb but may require more
EG: 1 gal pot = 3 gal. flush

add 1/2 strength nutes to the last gallon of the flush.

hydrogen peroxide doesnt fix Nutrition defficientcys unless the roots were dronwing

ok.. i just checked my PH (only have a cheap Rapidtest) and it registered 5.5. Our water here is crap so I have been using store bought distilled and it seems to have worked for them so far.

What is best to bring ph up a bit? Still flushing?

Thx

ok hun, use your tap water for watering and flushing its going to be on the alkaline side & easier to correct with vinegar to bring it down to 6.5 for your flushing

for now Id use straight tap water & your garden hose.....just keep flushing till your at 6.5PH runoff....when your in the optimum PH zone 6.5-6.8 add 1/2 strength ferts last gallon of the flush

what fertilizer are you using

Some off brand from a local nursery. Grow: 10-10-5 Bloom: 0-10-10 w// a bit of nitro added in.

For my next project i would like to get some proper ferts: Any Suggestion??

Miracle-Gro® Water Soluble All Purpose Plant Food (they make several fertilizers be sure its this one)
http://www.miraclegro.com/index.cfm/...c0236933b0a7a4
Fertilizer Analysis: 24-8-16 with micronutrients
2 level "Teaspoons" per gallon of water, (reduce this by 50% first time application) feed every other watering till flowering

Budding ferts I recommend Fertilome, Root Stimulator and plant starter....seriously....
the NPK is perfect: 4-10-6
2 teaspoons per gallon of water every other watering........ use this as your water ...discontinue use 3 weeks prior to harvest...flush last 2 weeks...thats it no water .....

Lightbulb The morning after...

I guess I expected a little much for only 8 hours of recovery time but things actually seem to be worse.

This problem is ONLY affecting my large top buds and ONLY affecting the one large fan leaf left on each.

This makes me wonder, could this be happening from a recent (less than a week ago) pruning that took place. My man, against my better judgement, seriously trimmed the plants up just last week. His reasoning was to allow more light to reach the lower areas. Seemd ok at the time but now I am wondering?? Maybe the remaining fan leaves are over loaded some how.

This is the only real shock these plants have had.

Anymore thoughts on this???
Wondering if I should be harvesting soon or just letting these leaves die off?

the damage done to the leaves from the PH lockout wont get better....and at this stage dont worry your a couple weeks from finishing Its getting time to stop feeding , there is enough nutes in the leaves alone to complete her appointed duty, she will get worse looking but this is normal near the end.

as to the fan leaves, thats not the issue its simply PH related lockout, however dont remove them, think of them as bud engines....next time tuck the leaves out of the way for lite penetration

keep a close eye on the PH runoff & the PH of the water going in just flush if necessary
your almost there
