Fert burn in dirt issue remains

I replanted my k2 and removed almost all the othe ocean forest and added fertless walmart dirt.. could the bit that still remains close to the base of the plant be still killing it? Its got about a dixie cup worth of ocean forest dirt near the base and its in a gallon size pot. Any advice? lower limbs are still getting wiped out but the top is staying green.. creeping death is comingup.

any advice?

also ganja guerilla i read a thread you said reverse osmosis is bad.. i figure it was best?

where do you guys buy ph testers and what do you do to correct water?

Thats not what I said....i said most reverse osmosis is genearally low in ph 6.0 ....its the PH you need to watch.& the point I was making in that post was just because your using reverse osmosis water your not safe from water problems you need to check your Ph like everyone else

as to your issue the root ball will continue to hold the ferts till they are leech out , or used up

you can buy ph meters on ebay from $12 - $175....I use a Blue Labs truncheon, you get what you pay for

you can also get ph up & ph down on ebay to adjust your water, in the US water is alkaline and you really only need ph down. phosphoric acid type PH down is recomended, our plant like phosphorus throughout its life

that depends on the size of the plant and how big the pots, a generalization is 30-60 days

you could but , just be aware that your guessing how much you leeched so start a very weak strength of supplemental ferts

nah
fert burn is your worst case scenerio, and that doesnt cause hermies, most hermie problems that are stress induce occur during the flowering cycle
your going to be ok

pluck the other 2 they are toast & I'm not one for giving up on a plant

they should not have been in the same container anyways.....now that I see this, pull the plant run water over the rootball till ALL the soil is gone, transplant in new soil and it will recover fine after it comes out of shock

also add 1 drop of SUPERthrive to a cup of water & water plant after the transplant
the damaged leaves wont repair themselves, leave the light green ones some will green up

So even with the little bit remaining in there, I still should pull it and clean the roots? I got most of the dirt out about a week ago so I hope i dont kill it

maybe the pictures are decieving, but there is only one plant in there.. those dead laves are dead leaves from the plant. the other k2 is the one in the larger container on the right next to it..

I started all three k2 in six inch containers with ocean forest.. all the sprouts in the dixies are random bagseed goingoutside with regular dirt..

you have been very helpful gg thank you

Alright.. yesturday I flushed the rootball on all three, and replanted in regular dirt with verm/perlite 4-1-1. Just went to hydro store today did the superthrive thing.. and bought a ph tester. My tap water is 7.0-7.5ish, the wtaer ive been using that reverse osmosis is 6.5

What range am I looking for?

6.5-6.8

use the tap water to make your ferts as it the ferts are always acidic and going to lower the pH

The ferts will bring it down that much? I bought botanicare pure blend pro along with the superthrive... mixing the superthrive at only 2 drops per gallong of rmy seedlings and the reviving K2.

When i start applying the pure blend pro grow, I should use the city tap water? with that high PH? i know it has chlorine in it too

you missunderstand, you still need to balance your ferts..... but because ferts are acidic, start off with tap water so that your not adding as much unnecessary acid to PH balance it
