Hi all,

I keep getting large amounts of seeds on some of the buds of my plant, i only have 1 plant which is female.

I'm not aure what is causing this as is has only happened the last couple of times, I havent changed anything from when things where ok.

Does anyone know what stresses cause a plant to seed, so I try to figure out what im doing wrong?

you could have a lite leak but most likely your plants genitic disposition, is to hermaphrodite

look closely on the plant for the male flowers

Did you have a male by your female at some point. If you did it mite have pollinated your female.

Maybe someone else planted some ganja relatively close your plants and the wind carried its pollen. Pollen can be carried a long way from its source. Maybe a neighbor. But definitely check if your plant is a hermaphrodite.

another thought

are you growing indoors?

it just occurred to me that if your growing indoors and this has happened a couple times to you and seems out of the norm....

spray the ventilation system & fans with lysol...wait 15 minutes & turn on the ventilation system.........then empty the grow room spray it down with bleach water , spray the ventilation system & fans with lysol again

this will render of any pollen infertile in your grow room thats possibly been getting blown around

If its outdoor you may have other people growing around you, or maybe some wild weed.

Is it quality bud or is it low quality, because if your growing low quality, its problebly natural.

you should show us some pics of your bud.

Thanks for help all.

One thing i didnt mention is that i've took cuttings off cuttings quite a few times and haven't kept a mother.

If its possible by cloning too many times from the original seed I may have altered my plants genitic disposition and now its become a hermaphrodite, because i did find some male flowers (like little peeled bannas) on my seeded bud...

Is it ok to remove any male flowers I find? I guess I need to change my strand now
